(no subject)

Hello, LJ world. I am indeed still about. I've been back in Connecticut for a few days now. Am in the midst of unpacking, so half my floor is covered in books and the other in clothes. The shoes are still in the basement because I'm terrified of even beginning to unpack them. (Who said nerdy girls can't love shoes?)

I'm recovering from the effects of college little by little, which actually just means that I sleep until 5pm every day. It's a little bit alarming. Even more alarming is my discovery that in as little as a month I dropped 6 pounds. That doesn't sound like a lot until I tell you that I only weighed 113lb to start with. Upon finding this out I immediately went to remedy the situation by devouring an entire box of chocolate truffles. Then a bag of oatmeal cookies. And then an Entenmann's raspberry danish. Some people have tried to tell me this is not the right approach, but how can something so delicious be wrong?

Other than that I've been playing Aion (weee level 16 ranger), devouring books like they're candy, and... yea that's it. I intend to email Michael at Firebrand and demand manuscripts to read as I fear my brain is already beginning to rot.

Also I don't have my grade for one of my classes. Grrrr...

i sympathize on the grade bit - i'm still missing one grade as well. love the correlation btwn hop teachers and profs.

i actually quite admire your approach to gaining back weight. it sounds delectable
