YOU GUYS. IRON MAN. I CAME SO HARD. ahslkjdfhalkjsdfaskj
This is mostly an incoherent reaction-to-the-movie entry. Comments may contain spoilers. Please tell me what you thought or just keyboard smash incoherently. Both are fine.
THE SHIELD. HSADLFJSFD
I want to know why it's all half dismantled and obviously not one piece of metal. Also, did Tony just invent Vibranium?
The movie had such massive Demon in a Bottle overtones. Tony wasn't exactly a raging alcoholic (although movie!verse Tony clearly still has a drinking problem), but it was definitely zeroing in on his self-destructive excesses.
I love frightened, plaintive Tony. He tries so hard to do right by Pepper and perpetually fails. I think she is the only person who can cow him.
The bit with Howard Stark's model was excessive. And I called that "the secret" was hidden in the map a good ten minutes beforehand and I called that it was going to be a new element soon after that. I am really bad at predicting things in movies. This must mean it was way too obvious. At least there was that touching moment with Howard.
Mickey Rourke's Russian was atrocious. Almost unintelligible. Probably not the case for non-Russian speakers but it threw me out of the movie every time he said something in "Russian".
But mostly: AHslJDHALSJFDS RDJ. Tony Tony Tony, you crazy, self-involved party boy. And yet you are the exact opposite. How does that even work?
Insert unintelligible flailing regarding Pepper and Black Widow here. Natasha needed WAY more scenes than she got. I heard she had more but they got cut. Sad times.
THE ONE-LINERS. I WISH TO QUOTE THIS ENTIRE MOVIE VERBATIM
Did they really play Robot Rock? Why, yes they did.
I'M ON THE HIGHWAY TO HELLLL
