Well. It's official. If I am "still gay" by the time I'm back from California then I am to pack up and go. My parents' house is closed to me.

And I had a ride waiting for me in the driveway and I couldn't leave because my mother threw herself at my feet and had hysterics for half an hour. So I had to tell my friend to turn around and go home because they were literally blocked my doorway.
Tomorrow I am definitely leaving. Really.

Ugh.

It is open to you should you need it. I want you to know that. If I am living in CT or in OR you are welcome to come and stay in either for as long as you need, or even if you don't need.

I'm more or less permanently in saratoga springs NY now, as I'll be here 90% or summer and all of fall, so if you need more places to go, you are welcome here too.

Oh, and this is a terribly practical sort of thing to say, but if you are moving out, if any of your books need a (temporary) home, I've always tended to enjoy yours, so you are welcome to leave any you're having trouble storing elsewhere with me.

Apologies for the practicality, again, but if you need a hand packing, I'll be home Aug 22-Sept 3.

And, on another note: I'm so sorry that people can be shitty like this. You are a lovely person, and I'm very glad you're my friend.
